A savings bank places its confidence in a durable material – and the expertise of 5D Engineering.

5D Engineering employees helped to develop a "young" furniture concept for Sparkasse (savings bank) Kitzbühel. Because this branch bank wants to target young people (free surfing, flexible opening hours), the interior was deliberately designed to be casual.

For the Viennese architectural firm Squid Architecture, only a material that was easy to clean with extremely high durability came into question. Solid surface material is convincing because of its durability and impeccable appearance. At this point, 5D Engineering came into the game as the expert.
Because of the technical support of 5D Engineering, doors, wall coverings, seat elements, desks and counters could be manufactured from solid surface material.

5D Engineering was involved from the outset. It supported the customer with the following services:

  • Feasibility analysis
  • Approval of the final draft of the drawings
  • Provision of 1:1 implementation planning
  • Preparation of data for 5-axis CNC cutting machines
  • Organization of the assembly procedures
  • Quality inspection in the fabrication facility and on site
